**LMS Platform Developer and Administrator.** We are seeking an **e-Learning Developer** specialized in **Moodle administration, installation, and configuration**, to join our team. This position requires solid technical expertise in cloud servers, databases, and programming, as well as the ability to design efficient and interactive learning experiences within the LMS. You will be responsible for **Moodle configuration, administration, optimization, and customization**, as well as designing interactive instructional strategies that enhance the learning experience and maximize educational impact. **Key Responsibilities: Moodle Management, Development, and Configuration** * Install, configure, and administer the **Moodle platform on Microsoft Azure Cloud** (experience with Google Cloud is also desirable). * Design, develop, and manage courses within Moodle, ensuring an intuitive, functional, and engaging user experience. * Configure and customize Moodle according to project requirements (roles, permissions, themes, plugins, reports). * Implement interactive activities, educational resources, and custom modules. * Manage users, cohorts, learning paths, enrollments, and reporting. * Troubleshoot technical issues, monitor logs, perform preventive maintenance, and optimize LMS performance. * Integrate Moodle with external tools (SSO, APIs, internal systems, multimedia platforms). * Build learning modules from scratch, ensuring responsive design and cross-device compatibility. * Manage LMS infrastructure: cron jobs, backups, permissions, updates, and security. **Essential Requirements** * Proven experience administering, configuring, and customizing the **Moodle LMS**, including installations on Azure or Google Cloud. * Experience structuring and deploying courses in an LMS. * Proficiency in **MySQL or MariaDB databases**, including administration, querying, and optimization. * Advanced **PHP skills (mandatory)** for adjustments, customization, and plugin development. * Practical knowledge of **JavaScript (mandatory)** for UI customization, activity development, and scripting. * Experience building learning modules from scratch with responsive design. * Familiarity with e-learning standards: **SCORM, xAPI, LTI**. * Experience collaborating with instructional design teams. **Desirable (Plus)** * Advanced Moodle development using **custom plugins, themes, or blocks**. * Additional knowledge of **HTML, CSS, Bootstrap**, or other frontend frameworks. * Experience integrating Moodle with APIs and external technological tools. * Linux server management, Docker, or Kubernetes experience.
