Java Microservices Developer

Join IDS Comercial for a hybrid employment opportunity!! We are looking for a **Java Microservices Developer** to join our team and participate in initiatives related to **API governance, quality, and standardization.** **Modality:** Hybrid, San Pedro de los Pinos, CDMX **Working Hours:** 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM **Project Duration:** 3 months with high possibility of extension **English Proficiency:** Basic/Intermediate technical level **Key Experience and Knowledge:** * Design and governance of **REST APIs.** * Definition, review, and validation of API contracts using **OpenAPI / Swagger (YAML / JSON).** * Management of the **API and microservices lifecycle: versioning, changes, and retirement.** * Knowledge of **microservices architecture and distributed systems.** * Experience with **Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)** and Java backend development. * Understanding of **event-driven architectures.** * Proficiency with **Git** and version control (branching, merging, and versioning). * Use of collaborative tools such as **Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.** * Handling of **JSON, YAML, and Excel** for tracking metrics and catalogs. * Participation in technical validations, vulnerability remediation, and compliance with standards. * Desirable knowledge of **CI/CD, quality gates, and automation of contract validations.** * **Desirable** experience with **Spring Boot and API Gateways such as Apigee or Kong.** * **Desirable** experience in **digital banking, API security, and regulated environments.** * **Desirable** knowledge of **Scrum / Agile methodologies.** **What do we offer?** * Hybrid modality in CDMX. * Statutory and above-statutory benefits. * A dynamic and collaborative work environment. *IDS Comercial is a 100% Mexican IT company with over 40 years of experience and presence in Mexico, Latin America, and the USA.
