Delivery Driver

Description

Job Summary: Responsible for vehicle inspection, loading, maintenance, route coordination, order delivery, and documentation management. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manages order delivery and customer payment collection. 2. Performs daily vehicle maintenance and supervision. 3. Coordinates routes and reports incidents during the work shift. · Conduct daily vehicle inspection to ensure it is in good condition. · Refuel the vehicle before starting daily tasks. · Record daily mileage, noting the starting and ending odometer readings at the end of each workday. · Communicate with the delivery coordinator regarding the assigned delivery route and plan alternative routes in case of unforeseen circumstances. · Load orders together with warehouse colleagues. · Verify delivery orders by comparing invoices with received products prior to dispatch. · Deliver orders to customers at designated locations, requesting customers to inspect goods before collecting payment for issued invoices. · Make regular cash deposits as a security measure. · Coordinate inspections required for legal permits enabling vehicle operation. · Wash and clean the vehicle regularly to maintain presentable appearance. · Maintain a logbook of destinations to track vehicle travel routes. . Prepare a delivery report specifying any issues encountered during the work shift.
