**Your Job**Ensure that manufactured products meet customer quality specifications, act as facilitator for integrated work teams to solve problems; ensure compliance with company certifications (ISO / IATF / safety / Environmental, etc.); form or participate in work teams to achieve goals established by quality management. **Our Team** This position interacts with Manufacturing, Engineering, Planning, Maintenance, and Human Resources to make product-related decisions; has authority to reassign quality inspectors according to production needs, and authority to stop any process or machinery where there could be a risk of compromising operator quality or safety. **What you will do** * Form interdisciplinary work teams and act as team facilitator; respond to customer quality notifications (QNs), applying company procedures for handling such issues, maintain contact with the customer to ensure they receive timely and updated information via phone conferences or email, to achieve quality management's established goals. * Support the quality laboratory and quality inspectors, assist in completing PPAPs (Production Part Approval Process) by providing all required information to the PPAP coordinator; support efforts to ensure production equipment is calibrated and has its GR\&R (where applicable), as well as producing parts for annual layouts (where applicable). * Generate and keep updated documents used in the production area whenever there are changes in inspection plans, engineering changes, series, or part numbers, as well as when visual aids are required, both those under your responsibility and those belonging to other departments, to maintain up-to-date information availability. * Have the ability to make decisions regarding materials and finished products; use technical knowledge and experience to prevent customer complaints or excessive scrap. * Ensure engineering changes (ECNs) are implemented and update any documents affected by such changes to comply with new engineering specifications. * Generate internal deviations, verifying with engineering when a product does not meet specifications, conducting tests and measurements; obtain internal approvals and subsequently release material, ensuring it functions correctly upon reaching the customer. * Coordinate inspectors under your supervision to ensure timely data entry into SAP related to quality (Scrap, ZQIN, defects, D5\-C CO26, etc.). * Support the supplier engineer (SQE) by participating in scheduled supplier meetings and providing required support to resolve issues. * Collaborate with manufacturing engineering on manufacturing process improvements and validate such improvements. * Provide training on quality-related topics when required to ensure product quality. * Lead mold transfers in all quality-related aspects. **Who you are** * Completed professional degree * 5 years of experience in quality and plastic injection processes * Advanced English proficiency * Proficient in computer tools (Microsoft Office and SAP) * Knowledge of engineering drawings * Familiarity with ISO and IATF requirements **What will put you ahead** * Professional degree in Industrial Engineering * Knowledge of metrology At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
