Purchasing Supervisor (Raw Materials)

**Your Job** Responsible for supervising the acquisition of goods, services, and materials necessary to ensure Production Operations, as well as their proper administration to achieve cost reduction, managing appropriate delivery times to avoid extraordinary freight charges and preventing overtime at the plant. Responsible for supervising the complete maintenance and updating of MRP parameters under their responsibility, as well as supporting IMDS and PPAP requests. Validate the use of digital platforms such as Supplier Net, Celonis SAP. **Our Team** Responsible for acquiring goods, services, raw materials, and general materials that are essential to production operations and necessary to ensure business continuity, as well as the proper management of inventory levels through a robust supply system and the complete maintenance and updating of MRP system parameters for components under their responsibility. Their work impacts annual indirect material and service expenses. Analyzes simple, non-repetitive issues and makes decisions affecting their work area. Authorized to evaluate quotations from different suppliers, make purchasing decisions, submit them for approval, and responsible for analysis and justification of PPV reports. **What you will do** * Ensure timely supply of Raw Materials to Production Lines with the required quality level according to standards, avoiding manufacturing process issues. Ensuring administration, creation, and tracking of purchase orders required by planners and/or requesters. * Monitor exception reports to ensure execution with our suppliers. * Manage and oversee the purchasing team's monitoring of raw material shelf life, procuring appropriate inventory levels through demand and consumption analysis prior to purchase commitments, to prevent inventory overages. * Ensure correct MRP system parameters for all assigned raw materials, and guarantee appropriate ordering patterns to prevent inventory shortages. * Work with the quality team to ensure proper follow-up on non-conforming raw materials, obtaining return authorization and tracking with engineers and suppliers until root cause is identified, ensuring future conforming deliveries. * Calculate required levels for raw materials used in processes to prevent material over-accumulation, using statistical methods. * Provide raw material supply support for execution of Master Production Schedules. * Develop metrics that ensure tracking of organizational objectives. * Integrate new suppliers into Molex systems. * Monitor Inventory Levels to ensure the manufacturing process, as well as inventory turnover targets established by the organization. * Take charge of calculations for new projects and/or transfers; including Phase In/Phase Out of raw materials, to prevent obsolescence and excess inventory, reporting them timely. * Ensure closure of payables system non-conformities to prevent potential blocking of supplier accounts. * Understand, support, and contribute to the fulfillment of PBM Philosophy, various Quality Management, Safety and Hygiene standards, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, RBA (Responsible Business Alliance), ISO, IATF, and CTPAT/OEA, following established policies and procedures. * Support compliance with CT\-PAT (Customs\-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) and OEA (Authorized Economic Operator) guidelines. * Perform related or complementary tasks consistent with job functions. **Who you are** * Completed university degree * Minimum 5 years of experience in raw material procurement * Experience managing personnel * Advanced English proficiency * Knowledge in roles related to materials area: procurement, planning, warehousing * Knowledge of MRP process and negotiation roles * Proficient in Microsoft Office suite **What will put you ahead** * CPIM certification * SAP proficiency At Koch, employees are empowered to do what they do best to make life better.
