Job Summary: Manage the end-to-end import process—from supplier negotiations in China to plant delivery—ensuring legal compliance and operational efficiency. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in imports from Asia 2. In-depth knowledge of INCOTERMS 2020, VUCEM, and customs entry forms 3. Intercultural negotiation and problem-solving skills Job Objective Comprehensively manage the import process—from sourcing and negotiating with suppliers in China to final delivery of goods at the plant—ensuring legal compliance, logistical efficiency, and cost optimization. Responsibilities * Identify and evaluate suppliers in China. * Request quotations, negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and payment terms. * Prepare purchase orders and track contracts and payments. * Coordinate maritime and air freight, insurance, and transit times. * Manage customs documentation and procedures in coordination with customs brokers. * Ensure timely and proper final delivery at the plant. * Prepare cost, timeline, and risk reports for management. * Maintain consistent communication with suppliers and internal departments. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade and/or International Business * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in imports from Asia. * In-depth knowledge of INCOTERMS 2020, VUCEM, and customs entry forms. * Advanced English proficiency. * Advanced Excel and logistics ERP system proficiency. Competencies * Organizational ability and documentary accuracy. * Intercultural negotiation and effective communication. * Problem resolution for customs delays or disputes. * Proactivity in optimizing timelines and costs. * Teamwork and results orientation.
