Contribute to high-impact products in a cloud environment **Senior Java Backend Engineer (Spring Boot, GCP, Kubernetes)** We are looking for a **Senior Java Backend Engineer** to design and build scalable, cloud\-native applications using modern technologies and best practices. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on distributed systems, solving complex backend challenges, and contributing to high\-impact products in a cloud environment. You will be part of a collaborative engineering team focused on delivering robust, high\-performance services while leveraging the power of Google Cloud Platform. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and maintain backend services using **Java (8\+) and Spring Boot** * Build and consume **RESTful APIs** for scalable microservices architectures * Develop and deploy applications on **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)** * Work with **containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes/GKE)** * Implement and maintain **CI/CD pipelines** (Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions) * Manage and optimize data using **SQL and NoSQL databases** (e.g., Cloud SQL, Firestore, BigQuery) * Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance using **cloud monitoring tools** * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to deliver high\-quality software solutions **Required Qualifications** * Strong experience with **Java and Spring Boot** in backend development * Hands\-on experience with **cloud platforms** (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure acceptable) * Solid understanding of **microservices architecture** * Experience with **Docker and Kubernetes** * Familiarity with **CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices** * Experience working with **relational and/or NoSQL databases** * Advanced English (written and spoken) **Nice to Have** * Experience with **Apigee or API Gateway tools** * Knowledge of **GCP services** such as BigQuery, Bigtable, or Cloud Functions * Experience migrating applications to the cloud Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent Pay: $50,000\.00 \- $90,000\.00 per month Application Question(s): * This is a hybrid role based in Monterrey, Mexico City, Guadalajara, or Querétaro.
