Job Summary: We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer for IMSS Clinical Laboratories, specialized in SQL Server, database management, report generation, and interface support. Key Highlights: 1. Essential hands-on experience with SQL Server at an intermediate-to-advanced level. 2. Management of data extraction and exploitation for productivity indicators. 3. Maintenance of LIS databases and support for clinical interfaces. We are looking for a TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER for IMSS CLINICAL LABORATORIES Join our team. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. (Completed) Experience in clinical laboratories (Preferred) Intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of SQL SERVER (Mandatory; if you do not meet this requirement, please refrain from applying) RESPONSIBILITIES: Data Extraction and Exploitation: Developing complex SQL queries to extract productivity indicators, response times, and laboratory workload volumes. Design of Specialized Reports: Creating, maintaining, and optimizing customized reports in Crystal Reports for delivery of clinical results and administrative reports required by the institution. Database Maintenance: Monitoring the integrity of the LIS (Laboratory Information System) database and executing scripts to correct inconsistencies in patient records or test results. Clinical Integration and Support Interface Management: Overseeing technical communication between clinical analyzers and the information system (LIS), ensuring accurate transmission of test results from medical equipment to the database. On-Site Service Validation: Ensuring every technical intervention is properly documented (activity report / technical annexes), duly signed by the unit — serving as official proof of service delivery. Technical Training: Training chemical and administrative staff on efficient system usage.
