Job Summary: We are seeking an Apigee Developer for API design and development, with experience in API technologies and standards, as well as knowledge of Java and agile methodologies. Key Highlights: 1. Extensive experience in API design and deep development with APIGEE 2. Proficiency in Java, GIT, Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP 3. Familiarity with API monitoring and analytics tools Profile: Apigee Developer Work Model: Hybrid (with availability to attend the office twice per week in CDMX) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Experience: 3+ years of API development experience Intermediate English Essential Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of API design and development (APIGEE) In-depth knowledge of API technologies and standards (REST, GraphQL, SOAP, etc.) Experience with Apigee and other API management platforms (e.g., Apigee Edge, Apigee Management) Familiarity with API performance monitoring and analytics tools, especially those provided by Apigee API and REST governance guidelines and standards Java development (versions 8 or higher) Professional-level Java knowledge Basic JavaScript knowledge Professional-level GIT knowledge Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes Knowledge of GCP (GKE, Cloud Functions, APIs, Permissions/Roles, Certificates, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, Logs, Monitoring, Secrets) Knowledge of Agile methodologies Professional-level OpenAPI (YAML/JSON) knowledge · Desirable Knowledge: Understanding of API security, including authentication, authorization, and best practices for data protection.
