




**Forestry Engineer** for field and office activities related to the identification of plant species, establishment and maintenance of reforestation. Support in the preparation of environmental impact assessments and land use change studies. **REQUIREMENTS:** \- Valid driver's license \- Professional degree and professional license (Desirable) \- Availability for field trips (various states of the country) **KNOWLEDGE:** . Forest sampling techniques. · GPS and georeferencing tools handling. · Basic knowledge of Excel and Word. **SKILLS** · Teamwork. · Good oral and written communication. **RESPONSIBILITIES** . Preparation of documentation for submission to SEMARNAT . Identification of forest species and local vegetation. · Support in the preparation of environmental impact studies, Land Use Change, and Environmental Programs. . Species identification. . Knowledge and application of methodologies for carbon, wind erosion, water erosion, and water balance. . Calculation of volumetric inventories. · Field data collection and preparation of technical reports.
