CNC Programmer and Operator

Description

Job Summary: Experienced CNC operator skilled in CAD/CAM software, blueprint interpretation, advanced metrology, and proficient in Fanuc, Siemens, and Heidenhain controls; responsible for machining parts, performing preventive maintenance, and collaborating within a team. Effective interaction and communication with the team * Experience with CAD/CAM software * Ability to write, interpret, and edit ISO G- and M-codes * Blueprint interpretation * Advanced metrology * Hands-on machine operation * Proficiency in Fanuc, Siemens, and Heidenhain controls * Machining parts according to specifications * Adherence to production timelines assigned by Operations Management for each part. * Record machined parts on the Production Time Sheet, including part identification number, date, start time, and completion time. * Perform preventive maintenance on the machine: check oil levels, keep the machine clean, etc. * Report machine malfunctions to the Production Manager for corrective maintenance. * Interact with the work team to maintain constant communication and ensure effective collaboration to resolve any future issues. * Monitor compliance with the 5S inspection standards in the work area.
