Position: **Junior Press Operator**
Location: Federal Highway Mexico–Cuautla km 41.5, Ozumba de Alzate, State of Mexico

**EDUCATION:**
Preferably Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Maintenance / Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance Technician or related field.
**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:**
Preferably 1 year in Graphic Arts Offset Printing.
**TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE**
* Preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance of industrial machinery.
* Knowledge of printing presses.
* Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electricity and mechanics.
* Knowledge of UV lamps.
* Ability to understand manuals and instructions.
* Use of measuring equipment and tools.
* Identification of mechanical failures.
**POSITION OBJECTIVE**
Ensure the proper operation of your primary equipment and support the operation of one or two additional module machines by **identifying failures or opportunities, performing basic maintenance tasks**, and assisting in the execution of **preventive and corrective maintenance**, thereby contributing to operational continuity and efficient performance of production lines.
**OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Properly and consistently use assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all activities. See PR-SI-03 **Personal Protective Equipment Usage and Handling Procedure.**
* Comply with EEEISA’s policies, procedures and guidelines, as well as the 5S program, promoting operational discipline and continuous improvement.
* Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area, contributing to accident prevention and a safe working environment.
* Review production program information provided by the Supervisor at the start of the shift, ensuring understanding of daily objectives and priorities.
* Power on electrical panels and auxiliary cabinets, verifying initial equipment functionality.
* Perform general press startup, including electrical systems, UV lamps and compressed air, checking fans, pumps and belts, and reporting any failure to the Supervisor.
* Assist in unloading, aligning and placing bundles of sheets, adjusting the lift table and centering material with forklift operator support.
* Install magnets and retention devices to ensure constant, orderly material flow toward the press.
* Perform design and format changes using reference sheets and carrying out basic adjustments of squares, rulers and guides, aided by measuring instruments to guarantee precision and alignment.
* Participate in cleaning the press and its components, removing ink residue, dust and excess material to maintain optimal operating conditions.
* Perform filling and cleaning of fountain solution tanks, ensuring correct mixture and proper functioning of the dampening system, reporting low levels, leaks or contamination.
* Select test sheets, verifying centering, alignment and tone; detect basic registration or ink faults and communicate observations to the main operator for initial adjustments.
* Monitor sheet passage during printing, identifying defects or color deviations, and assist in sampling for tone and quality control.
* Report to the Production Supervisor any part requiring replacement or mechanical repair, for scheduling during monthly maintenance.
* Participate in preventive maintenance activities according to the established schedule and in corrective maintenance required during operations.
* Generate, execute and follow up on TPM card issuance (blue, red and yellow) per **PR-PO-02 TPM Card Filling and Usage Procedure**, ensuring proper handling.
* Assist in cleaning and shutting down the press at the end of the shift and in separating non-conforming material.
* Assist in any function or activity requested by the Production Supervisor related to order, cleanliness and productivity of the area, as long as it falls within your module.
* Remain available and willing to participate in all training and development activities provided by area leaders or any other designated by EEEISA.
* Visually inspect material condition before and during the production process, identifying defects such as deformations, folds, stains, tears or tone variation, immediately reporting any anomaly to the Production Supervisor for evaluation and disposition.
