Participation in committees and industry groups **Request ID:** 248778 We are committed to continuing our investment in our employees and helping you further develop your career path at Scotiabank. **Responsibilities** * Responsible for developing and managing the strategy for implementing Cash Management products. * Participate in committees within the Financial Group, including those related to processes, systems, and other products, proposing best practices for the benefit of the Financial Group. * Represent the Financial Group on Industry Groups to follow up on requirements, as needed by any of the assigned products. * Identify and evaluate viable business opportunities by analyzing the needs of the target market (current and potential customers), banking and financial trends, the economic environment, competition, applicable legislation, and institutional strategies. * Responsible for developing new Cash Management products and drafting the product and service requirements necessary to meet the needs of various Business Lines. * Serve as Product Owner (PO) leading the assigned cell(s) to develop products and services. * Participate in the annual GTB Product budget preparation in coordination with each Business Area. * Lead the preparation of Business Cases (BCs) for projects assigned by BNS and follow up on their approval, carrying out necessary actions to ensure compliance. * Responsible for consulting, establishing, and implementing required actions to comply with institutional and regulatory standards governing Cash Management product offerings. * Collaborate with Training and Communications to develop tools and information on Cash Management product features for training courses, operational policies, sales or contracting support materials related to products and services under your responsibility, leveraging innovative communication methods. * Coordinate with Training and Communications to address Compliance requirements regarding Cash Management product fees. * Responsible for registering new fees with regulators for assigned products. * Understands the Bank’s risk culture and how risk appetite must be considered in daily activities and decisions. * Actively performs effective and efficient operations within respective areas while ensuring the adequacy, compliance, and effectiveness of daily business controls to fulfill obligations aimed at mitigating operational risk, regulatory non-compliance risk, money laundering and terrorist financing risk, and conduct risk—including responsibilities established under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, International Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Manual, and Business Conduct Guidelines. **We Offer:** * Base salary * Meal vouchers * Direct employment with the Institution * Benefits exceeding statutory requirements * 30-day year-end bonus * 20 vacation days per year * Major Medical Expense Insurance * Life insurance **Requirements:** * Short- and medium-term business vision * Analytical ability * Teamwork * Ability to work under pressure * Initiative * Results orientation * Commitment * Customer orientation * Knowledge of Project Management and Agile methodologies * Intermediate-to-advanced English * Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or Systems Engineering At Scotiabank, we value the unique skills and experiences each person brings to the Bank and are committed to creating and maintaining an inclusive and accessible environment for everyone.
