




Job Summary: Lead process engineering in industrial projects, ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, quality, cost, and schedule objectives. Key Highlights: 1. Coordination of multidisciplinary teams and communication with clients. **Responsibilities and Duties:** **General:** Develop, lead, and execute process engineering for industrial projects (conceptual, basic, and detailed), ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, quality, cost, and schedule objectives; coordinate multidisciplinary teams; and maintain direct communication with clients and suppliers. **Specific:** * Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex processes in accordance with industry standards and client requirements. * Prepare and review engineering documentation: \- Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) \- Piping \& Instrumentation Diagrams (P\&ID) \- Design Basis \- Process Operation Philosophies \- Mass and energy balances \- Equipment datasheets \- Technical specifications \- Reports, studies, and cost estimates. \- Perform process calculations: hydraulic, heat transfer, pumping systems, hydrocarbon transportation, PSV sizing, fractionation columns, and thermal systems. \- Size major and auxiliary equipment (heat exchangers, pumps, valves, cooling systems, etc.). * Develop process simulations using specialized software. * Coordinate and supervise process engineering teams (task assignment, * technical monitoring, and deliverable tracking). * Conduct root cause analysis and risk assessments, proposing mitigation strategies. * Estimate operational and maintenance costs for industrial facilities. * Evaluate technical proposals from suppliers, verifying compliance with * specifications. * Participate in technical meetings with clients, project managers, and associated disciplines. * Prepare deliverable lists and project effort hour estimates. * Ensure compliance with national and international regulations, as well as * safety and environmental requirements. * Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases, where applicable. * Coordinate with CSA, MEP, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Project Controls disciplines. * Propose improvements to existing processes focused on efficiency, sustainability, and innovation.
