Título: Técnico de Servicio de Campo I \-Monterrey Ubicación: Monterrey RESUMEN DEL PUESTO Y ÁREAS CLAVE DE RESPONSABILIDAD* Installation, maintenance and repairs of equipment within an assigned territory to ensure continuity of customer operations and high levels of customer satisfaction. * May be requested to work outside the assigned area as determined by projects, to cover colleagues and during peak demand periods. * Ownership of customer issues or incidents until the situation has been resolved to the customer's satisfaction and/or in compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA). * Diagnose, repair and replace components on any equipment supported by NCR Voyix, including but not limited to Point of Sale, self-service kiosks, servers and other office equipment, portable terminals and associated peripherals. * Installation of new equipment or upgrading existing equipment, according to the Statement of Work (SOW). * Assist in site preparation, including cabling installation, equipment setup and equipment testing; may also perform modular swaps and unit replacements as needed. * Subject to required training and certification, which may include working at heights (e.g., ladders, mobile personnel lifting platforms) and/or using portable power tools. * The Field Service Technician responds to all customer concerns or problems by resolving them or escalating to the appropriate associate, team member, territory manager or Control Tower. * Build working relationships with customers and develop informal communication channels with the customer account at the local level. * Represents NCR Voyix in a manner that positively reflects the company's image and reputation. * Performs periodic preventive maintenance on assigned products; diagnoses problems, performs repairs and replaces components or modules. * Responsible for all NCR Voyix assets used in providing customer service (i.e., tools, software, vehicles, documentation and intellectual property), or as assigned by management. * Maintain proper inventory of parts, as well as parts recordkeeping. * Accurate and timely reporting of calls and activities, as well as other reports as required; track and report all expenses incurred in providing service, including phone, private automobile and/or public transportation. * Capture detailed information on customer assets and other necessary data to complete any billing or invoicing activity. * May be dispatched daily based on calls or may set own daily schedule based on automated reports to meet SLA requirements. * May require extended travel, lifting and carrying parts of various weights (up to 50 lbs. or 25 kg); may require bending/squatting, walking/standing/sitting for prolonged periods. * Participate in the shift pattern for the operational area, which may include weekend and night work as determined by customer coverage and SLA requirements. * May be asked to participate in a night shift where 24 x 7 customer support is needed; an additional allowance may be paid, according to country guidelines; may include occasional night work to support deployment projects. * Work to routinely achieve established Key Performance Indicators to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, superior quality outcomes, cost awareness and maintenance, and safe operations as top priorities. CALIFICACIONES BÁSICAS* Driver's license required. * Must know how to drive a manual transmission vehicle. * High school diploma or equivalent related experience. * Basic computer skills, including navigating the Windows operating system and basic familiarity with Microsoft Office suite. * Experience in PC hardware maintenance and support. Works well with minimal supervision; good problem-solving skills; ability to quickly learn new skills; ability to work under pressure; ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality work. * Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills required. * High level of mechanical/electrical aptitude; experience with computer hardware maintenance (desktops, servers, peripherals), routers, networks, switches, hubs. * High level of personal integrity; supports and promotes teamwork and cooperative effort. * Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, overtime, flexible shifts and on-call duties. CALIFICACIONES PREFERIDAS* Associate degree/certifications in a technical field preferred. * Prior experience with NCR or similar equipment is a plus. * Recognized qualification in the electronics or IT domain preferred. * Experience in EPOS maintenance or installation preferred; strong desktop hardware experience may be considered if EPOS experience is limited.
