Together, we protect, preserve, and regenerate resources—addressing today’s environmental challenges while creating tomorrow’s water treatment and process solutions.** **Job Description** -------------------------- General support to the engineering department in the following functions: * Maintenance of the Quality Management System. * Support in design and sizing of treatment systems. * Participation in the development of Conceptual and Basic Engineering. * Calculation and selection of pumps, valves, piping, and instrumentation involved in treatment processes. * Knowledge and development of P&IDs according to ISA standard coding. (optional) * Handling of calculation reports. * Liaison with suppliers and colleagues from various departments. * Support in document control. **Requirements** -------------- * Academic background: Student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields. * Basic knowledge of unit operations and processes applicable to water treatment. * Ability to interpret mass balances. * Basic sizing of mechanical equipment (pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, tanks). * Basic knowledge of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs). * Basic knowledge of quality management systems. * Basic or intermediate AutoCAD skills. * Basic English proficiency. * Proficiency in software such as Excel, Word, Google Sheets, and Google Docs. **Additional Information** ------------------------- Internship stipend: 7,646\.27 As an inclusive employer, Veolia is committed to diversity and values all applications without discrimination. **Job ID** REF56239N **Publication Date** 29/03/2026 **Location** State of Mexico, Mexico **Business Area** Operations / Engineering, Studies, Projects **Contract Type** Internship Contract
