Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Effective handling of tolerances. Extensive knowledge of measuring instruments. Knowledge of insert geometry. Knowledge and skill in workpiece clamping and machine setup. Selection, testing, and preparation of appropriate cutting tools for each material Configuration and adjustment of machine parameters Generation of CNC programs to transmit data to numerical control machines.
