**JOB OPENING: Accounting Technician – Accounts Payable**
**Telecommunications Company – Mexico City (Xocongo, Cuauhtémoc)**
Are you looking for a stable opportunity within a strong accounting team? This position is for you. We are growing and want to bring on board someone with a proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and foundational accounting knowledge to join our Accounts Payable department.
**Requirements**
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Technical Degree (advanced student or graduate).
* 6 months to 1 year of experience in accounts payable or related accounting areas.
* Proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo, Contpaq, Oracle, or similar).
* Knowledge of tax requirements (CFDI, XML, recoverable VAT, withholding taxes).
* Accounting and bank reconciliations.
* Intermediate-level Excel skills.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Validate invoices (CFDI, XML, PDF) and verify compliance with tax and authorization requirements.
* Register invoices in Odoo or Contpaq according to internal policies.
* Prepare payment proposals, track authorizations, and coordinate with Treasury.
* Reconcile balances with suppliers and update the payment master file.
* Support accruals, review liability accounts, and assist with monthly accounting closure.
* Ensure compliance with internal control policies and audit requirements.
