Develop backend services using .NET / JAVA Zurich Capability Center is looking for: **Azure API Developer** We are seeking an experienced **Azure API Developer** with approximately **4 years of hands\-on experience** in designing, developing, and managing APIs within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API development, cloud\-native architectures, and integration patterns, working closely with cross\-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, deploy, and maintain RESTful APIs using Microsoft Azure services. * Build and manage APIs using **Azure API Management (APIM)**. * Develop backend services using **.NET / JAVA** * Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth 2\.0, OpenID Connect, Azure AD). * Integrate APIs with cloud and on\-premises systems. * Ensure API performance, scalability, monitoring, and security best practices. * Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams. * Write clean, maintainable, and well\-documented code. * Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues. * Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement. **Required Skills \& Qualifications** * 4\+ years of professional experience as an API or Backend Developer. * Strong experience with **Microsoft Azure**, including: + Azure API Management + Azure App Services + Azure Functions + Azure Logic Apps (nice to have) * Solid understanding of **RESTful API design principles**. * Experience with **authentication and security** standards (OAuth 2\.0, JWT, Azure AD). * Knowledge of **CI/CD pipelines** (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). * Experience with **source control systems** (Git). * Familiarity with **SQL and NoSQL databases**. * Strong problem\-solving and communication skills. **Who we are** Looking for a challenging and inspiring work environment where you can make a difference?
