The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) systems for projects in the United States, ensuring compliance with quality standards, local codes, and client objectives while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams in Mexico and the U.S. **Responsibilities:** **Technical Collaboration:** * Support Mid-Level and Senior Engineers in project development from conceptual phase through advanced stages. * Participate in coordination meetings with teams in Mexico and the U.S. **Design and Documentation:** * Prepare mechanical installation drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP. * Perform thermal load, ventilation, and duct/piping pressure drop calculations. * Develop design bases and short specifications. **HVAC Systems Development:** * Design air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and humidity control systems. * Size ductwork and piping for chilled water, condensate, hot water, and drainage systems. * Select and specify equipment (pumps, chillers, boilers, fans, terminal units, diffusers, grilles). **Regulatory Compliance:** * Apply American standards and codes (ASHRAE, SMACNA, AHRI, ICC). * Contribute to LEED certification documentation (desirable). **Management and Quality:** * Adhere to WSP quality standards and client objectives. * Report project progress and activity status. **Requirements:** **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related field. * Specialization in air conditioning and refrigeration systems is desirable. **Experience:** * Minimum 3 years in engineering consulting or related fields involving HVAC systems. * Knowledge of industry codes and standards. * Experience with design software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP) and calculation tools (TRACE, HAP or similar). * LEED-certified project experience is desirable. * Advanced English proficiency is mandatory. **Technical Knowledge:** * Familiarity with American standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, AHRI, ICC). * Equipment selection and use of calculation and selection software. * Microsoft Office suite. **What We Offer:** * Minor medical expense insurance, dental insurance, life insurance * Grocery vouchers, restaurant vouchers * Financial support for remote work * You may join our “Own It” program, enabling you to acquire shares of WSP Global through monthly payroll deductions and benefit from an additional 50% contribution by WSP (subject to a defined maximum amount). * You will gain immediate ownership of your shares, including those acquired with WSP’s contribution. * Annual performance reviews * Biannual employee engagement surveys * Opportunity to join a multinational company with high-quality standards and strong growth potential * Chance to participate in multidisciplinary and cross-sector projects at national, regional, and global levels Employment Type: Full-time Salary: Starting from $19,000.00 per month Benefits: * Dental insurance * Life insurance * Grocery vouchers * Restaurant vouchers Application Question(s): * Please indicate your place of residence: Puebla or CDMX?
