**Manual Therapeutic Modalities** **Position Objective:** To train students in the application of manual techniques for treating various musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions, aiming to improve functionality, alleviate pain, and promote patient rehabilitation. **Responsibilities** * Understand the theoretical and scientific principles underlying different manual therapeutic modalities, including pain physiology, neuromuscular control, and human biomechanics. * Develop proficiency in specific manual physiotherapy techniques, such as joint mobilization, manipulation, soft tissue therapy, therapeutic massage, stretching, and myofascial release. * Train students to conduct accurate patient assessments, identify indications and contraindications for manual therapies, and tailor treatment to patients’ specific conditions and goals. * Provide individualized follow-up for each student. **Requirements:** * A degree and professional license in physiotherapy or a closely related medical field are mandatory. * A master’s degree with corresponding title and professional license is desirable. * Minimum three years of teaching experience. * Familiarity with platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Blackboard, or similar systems is desirable. **Competencies:** * Strong service orientation * Effective communication * Organizational skills * Ethics **Why Work at UVM?** We are Mexico’s largest private university, with 65 years of academic excellence, social commitment, and professional vision.
