




Position Summary: Manage the project from the definition and optimization of tooling and processes, ensuring design feasibility and Maier's profitability. Key Highlights: 1. Ensuring quality and efficiency in industrialization. **Position Objective:** Manage project aspects by defining, developing, and optimizing tooling and processes; confirming product design feasibility; meeting customer requirements, environmental regulations, and occupational health and safety standards (PRL); and achieving Maier's profitability objectives during the pre-manufacturing phase. **Main Responsibilities:** * Definition of part design-related aspects: thicknesses, ribs and exits, materials and anchoring points, finishes * Definition of production means design-related aspects: molds, assembly fixtures, frames, packaging, workstations—confirming manufacturing means (machines, facilities, etc.) in accordance with the industrial model * Lead the Process/Tooling FMEA together with the necessary team of collaborators * Prepare technical specification sheets, perform tooling project acceptance, obtain samples, validate tooling * Generate progress reports on production means until their acceptance * Define and verify process implementation in accordance with Maier’s industrial model and ergonomic standards: manufacturing flowchart, layout, process guidelines, data sheets, workstation definitions, standard sheets, work instruction sheets, operator training, as well as all other process documentation used on the shop floor * Work collaboratively and actively participate in project monitoring * Lead the implementation of modifications and fine-tuning of production means with suppliers, coordinated with the project team * Contribute technical expertise to supplier identification and selection * Participate in internal and customer audits * Support sample and pre-series manufacturing * Ensure compliance with quality standards for both processes and products * Review process implementation against quotations and optimize and document production processes * Carry out industrialization * Verify and ensure production means capacity in coordination with the Production Department * Provide technical support for technical inquiries, quotations, and technical-economic dossiers * Deliver training on standards based on the STAC methodology and other trainings based on the Maier Production System (MPS) * Ensure personal safety and the safety of individuals affected by one’s activities, complying with defined safety regulations and preventive measures * The employee is also required to perform any other activities or tasks inherent to and/or related to their position and/or responsibilities * Engineering degree or equivalent experience in comparable positions * Minimum 3 years of experience performing these or similar functions, having successfully completed 2 project cycles—strategic projects defined by customer, vehicle, complexity, and/or billing level—in multi-technology environments * Languages: English desirable * Plastic injection knowledge MANDATORY * Engel injection molding machines MANDATORY * Automation * AutoCAD
