




Programming Assistant Reports to: Programming, Operational and Executive Management. **Abstract** A key position within the Programming department, responsible for assisting in the entire film selection lifecycle (from call for entries to exhibition) and actively coordinating special screenings. This role serves as the administrative arm of the department, managing communications with juries, filmmakers, database platforms, and screening systems, while maintaining coordination with venues and sub-programming teams. The role requires strong organizational and logistical capabilities to ensure smooth festival execution across multiple locations. **Key Responsibilities** * Call for Entries Management: * Support updating and launching the annual call for entries on platforms such as FilmFreeway. * Track submitted films and assist in preparing closing reports for the submission period. * Selection Process: * Initiate and monitor the review and pre-selection of submitted works. * Coordinate the pre-selection team. * Organize jury evaluations within the internal management software. * Technical and Logistical Coordination. * Festival and Special Screenings Execution. **Required Skills and Qualifications** * Education: Completed university studies. * *Relevant fields:* Communication, Film and Audiovisual Media, Cultural Management, Art History, Literature, Translation or related disciplines. * Film enthusiast. * Technical Skills: * Advanced proficiency in Office Suite (Word, Excel) and spreadsheets (Google Sheets). * Experience with film festival submission platforms (e.g., FilmFreeway). * Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applied to data management or media. * Strong organizational skills. * Bilingual (Spanish / English) essential. * Attention to detail. * Desired Experience: Proven experience in film festival programming, database management, and event logistics. * Two letters of recommendation.
