




**DIESEL MECHANIC** Requirements * Experience in preventive maintenance, including oil and lubricant changes, filter and coolant replacements, brake pad, drum, and disc replacements, torqueing of specific components, and tire rotation. * Corrective maintenance, including replacement of components with and without calibration, assembly and disassembly of minor components, assembly and disassembly of major components, electrical repairs (wiring, harnesses, contacts, terminals, etc.), and pneumatic repairs (valves, hoses, connections, etc.), A/C systems and hydraulic systems (valves, solenoids, seals, pistons, etc.). * Repair of minor components (alternators, starters, pumps, etc.). * Repair of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials, etc.). * Basic and electrical diagnostics, use and operation of diagnostic software, software-based calibration, configuration and programming of control units. * Availability for roadside assistance. * Class C driver’s license. * Standard vehicle operation. * Minimum education: High school diploma or technical high school diploma.
