Position Summary: We are seeking a professional to plan and coordinate logistics operations, manage inventory, supervise personnel and vehicle fleet, and ensure regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Logistics Operations Planning and Coordination 2. End-to-End Inventory, Warehouse, and Fleet Management 3. Delivery Team Supervision and Training 1\. **Planning and Coordination of Operations** * Plan efficient distribution routes considering delivery zones, traffic conditions, and service time windows. * Assign vehicles and personnel (drivers, assistants) based on daily demand. * Coordinate loading and unloading at the warehouse, ensuring proper package classification. * Supervise departure and return schedules of delivery units. 2\. **Inventory and Warehouse Management** * Monitor inbound and outbound parcel flow at the distribution center. * Verify package integrity, weight, and volume. * Coordinate with the customer service department to resolve incidents such as lost or damaged parcels. * Maintain up-to-date records of inventory and shipping manifests in the system. 3\. **Personnel Supervision** * Lead and supervise drivers, delivery assistants, and warehouse staff. * Assign tasks, schedule shifts, and evaluate team performance. * Train staff on best practices in logistics, road safety, and customer service. 4\. **Vehicle Fleet Management** * Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of transport vehicles. * Verify validity of documentation (insurance, permits, GPS systems, etc.). * Optimize fuel usage and monitor route performance. 5\. **Delivery Control and Tracking** * Monitor deliveries in real time using tracking systems or logistics applications. * Track key performance indicators: on-time delivery rate, successful delivery percentage, returns, etc. * Resolve in-transit issues (delays, incorrect addresses, undelivered packages). 6\. **Administrative Management and Reporting** * Prepare daily/weekly reports on deliveries, performance, and operational costs. * Analyze data to propose improvements in efficiency and customer satisfaction. * Coordinate with sales, customer service, and billing departments to ensure service traceability. 7\. **Regulatory Compliance and Safety** * Ensure compliance with transportation, occupational health, and safety regulations. * Implement risk control measures and emergency protocols for accidents or thefts. * Guarantee confidentiality and security of transported parcels. **Commonly Tracked Metrics** * % of on-time deliveries. * % of returns or incidents. * Logistics cost per package. * Customer satisfaction level. * Fuel consumption per vehicle/route.
