




**Purchasing and Warehouse Supervisor** **Education / Experience** * Technical degree or bachelor’s degree * Quality in manufacturing * Cost accounting * Warehouse and inventory experience * Supplier relations * Negotiation experience * Purchasing **General** Responsible for purchasing and quoting necessary items/materials using effective cost-saving procedures, negotiating the best prices and contracts with suppliers. Maintain optimal inventory levels in the warehouse, reflecting forecasted consumption. **Responsibilities** * Deliver production materials to production departments. * Develop purchasing strategies aligned with the company’s needs and objectives. * Negotiate prices and contracts with new and existing suppliers, ensuring profitable and high-quality outcomes. * Research required items, costs, and benefits to achieve the optimal balance among quality, price, and delivery time. * Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers. * Record material transactions. * Purchase necessary materials and items from suppliers. * Complete required purchase orders. * Identify damaged goods and develop solutions with the supplier. * Maintain detailed and accurate records, preparing all necessary reports. * Administer and implement inventories as required by the company. * Monitor inventory to ensure all materials and items are available. * Set up, access, and maintain information in Oxaion, Excel, and Inform. * Communicate effectively with internal teams, including Accounting, providing accurate information and reports. * Code purchase orders and submit all required information regarding new suppliers to Accounting. * Receive, inspect, and label incoming production materials. * Handle all Marbach and customer information confidentially. * Report issues affecting the company’s ability to meet customer requirements to the supervisor. * Support quality control of received goods. * Record received materials. * Support billing, quoting, and ordering as needed, and serve as the point of contact for customers. * Assist with special projects and other tasks assigned by the CEO and Operations Manager. * Monitor and expedite orders to ensure timely receipt of materials. * Collaborate with Customer Service to ensure customer needs are met through quotations and material supply. * Identify logistical options for shipments related to incoming/outgoing materials and equipment. * Generate and provide material quotations to external customers and internal departments. * Participate in cost-saving initiatives related to suppliers, materials, and processes. * Communicate and coordinate with other internal departments. * Ability to handle diverse functions quickly and accurately, even amid frequent interruptions. * Other purchasing-related tasks as required. **Physical Requirements** * Adaptability to a dynamic work environment. * While performing this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to sharp objects, smoke or airborne particles, and high noise levels. * Ability to stand for extended periods and adapt to the work environment. **Preferred Skills** * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Interpersonal skills. * Warehouse and inventory experience. * Verbal and written communication skills. * Negotiation and persuasion skills. * Analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Attention to detail and accuracy. * Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. * Adaptability. * Bilingual requirement (Spanish and English; German is a plus)
