**Official-Level Marine Technician Opportunity Summary:** We are seeking a motivated and qualified marine diesel engine technician responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and diagnosing both routine maintenance and emergency services on MTU marine engines (yachts, personal and/or commercial vessels), while making maintenance and repair recommendations to customers in the Cabo San Lucas area. **Salary:** * $32.00 to $50.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. * Company-provided service vehicle * Housing assistance available * Relocation assistance available * Applicant must be able to obtain temporary residency in Mexico within 3 months of hire date. **Job Duties:** * Perform high-quality repairs and maintenance on MTU marine diesel engines according to manufacturer-designed procedures. * Verify performance by conducting sea trials and making necessary adjustments. * Accurately complete all required documentation (e.g., repair information on work orders) in a timely manner. Maintain engine and vessel records with service and repair documentation. * Conduct MTU commissioning tests. * Diagnose vessel faults, perform complete engine inspections, and carry out other repairs identified during the diagnostic process. * Commitment to adhering to all company and industry safety standards. * Inspect critical components to ensure they are in proper working condition. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. * Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to communicate clearly with technical support, sales, and administration. * Provide guidance, assistance, and training to marine technician apprentices as needed. * Perform other assigned tasks. * Frequent travel within an assigned territory or area of responsibility (AOR). **Work Experience and Qualifications:** * More than 2 years of experience in large-bore marine diesel engine repair and maintenance preferred. * Strong MTU experience. * Solid practical knowledge of multiple systems, MTU MCS/RCS electronics, experience with Diasys software, proficiency with electrical multimeters, and diesel engine troubleshooting. * Strong laptop/PC and software skills. * Valid driver's license, unrestricted and insurable. **Employee Rewards and Benefits:** * Days recognized by the Federal Labor Law * Life insurance * Company-paid training * Growth and leadership opportunities. **About the Company:** W.W.
