**Mechanical Technician - Tijuana, B.C.** **Requirements:** * Technical degree in Diesel Mechanics or related field. * Basic knowledge of components, systems, and maintenance of mechanical diesel engines. * Intermediate knowledge in diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of mechanical systems. * Proficient in using workshop tools and measuring equipment. * Understanding of engines, brakes, suspension, transmission, and basic electrical systems. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform preventive maintenance (oil changes, filter replacements, basic adjustments). * Carry out intermediate repairs on engines, brakes, suspension, steering, and transmission. * Assist in diagnosing simple mechanical and electrical faults. * Repair mechanical and pneumatic suspensions (no diagnostic work). * Disassemble and reassemble ABS brake systems (without diagnosing these systems). * Perform maintenance on brake systems. **Skills and Attitudes:** * Proactive, with a sense of order and cleanliness. * Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines. * Manual dexterity and physical fitness for handling tools. * Detail-oriented and focused on problem-solving. **Benefits:** * Savings fund * Base salary + commission plan * Company parking * Option for indefinite contract * Free uniforms * Statutory benefits * Paid birthday off **Working Hours:** Day shift, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm with one and a half hours for meals.
