**Location Overview** Join our team at Amanvari. A remote natural paradise on Mexico’s Eastern Cape, Aman’s newest retreat finds home between the Sierra de la Laguna mountains and the calm waters of the Sea of Cortés. Echoing its name, a combination of the Sanskrit\-derived words for ‘peace’ and ‘water,’ Amanvari rests in harmony with its exclusive yet inspiring setting, an exclusive 1,000\-acre community just one hour from Los Cabos International airport. The Reservations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Reservations Department, ensuring the highest standards of guest service, accuracy, and efficiency. This position plays a vital role in leading and developing the team, coordinating closely with Revenue, Sales and Front Office, and ensuring that every reservation reflects the brand’s philosophy of excellence, attention to detail, and commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences. **Key Responsibilities** * Thrive in high\-pressure environments, maintaining integrity, professionalism, and composure always with guests and team members. * Ensure all guest interactions—via phone, email, or in\-person— reflect the brand’s tone, service standards, and values. * Handle complaints, special requests, and VIP or repeat guest needs with discretion, empathy, and urgency. * Ensure daily follow\-up on special guest requests, advance arrivals, and guest preferences. * Oversee accurate reservation confirmations and guarantee all reservations are handled correctly. * Always maintain guest confidentiality and data privacy. * Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, and Engineering to manage room changes, Out\-of\-Order rooms, and special handling requirements. * Share pertinent guest information with relevant departments to enhance the guest experience. * Maintain accuracy across PMS, GDS, CRS, and other systems, ensuring profiles are complete and free of duplicates. * Liaise with Accounting to process advance deposits, no\-show charges, billing disputes, and commission payments in accordance with hotel policies. **Qualifications** * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a luxury or ultra\-luxury hotel environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial reservations role. * Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams, while maintaining high standards of service and operational excellence. * Strong knowledge of PMS, CRS, and GDS systems (Opera Cloud experience preferred) and other reservation/distribution platforms. * Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English and Spanish required, additional languages a plus. * Highly organized, detail\-oriented, and able to multitask effectively under pressure. * Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business demands. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive guest or company information with integrity. * Positive, engaging, and inspiring leadership style, fostering a high\-performance and collaborative team culture. * Strong problem\-solving skills and ability to adapt to dynamic operational needs. * Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and upholding the brand’s service standards.
