Purchasing Manager

Efficiently manage the acquisition of materials, tools, supplies, and services for the company, ensuring quality, on-time delivery, and cost optimization through strategic negotiations and strong commercial relationships with suppliers. Responsibilities: * Manage and execute purchases of materials and supplies. * Negotiate with national suppliers. * Monitor compliance with purchase orders. * Maintain an updated supplier catalog, evaluating their performance in terms of quality, delivery times, and after-sales service to ensure strong business relationships. * Prepare periodic purchasing and supplier performance reports for senior management, proposing continuous improvement actions in procurement processes. * Select suppliers according to established criteria of quality, cost, and compliance. * Recommend replacement or onboarding of new suppliers. * Maintain and update a reliable supplier catalog, assessing their certifications, compliance, and quality. * Verify that products meet the specifications requested in the purchase order (quantity, size, color, quality, etc.). * Follow up on returns or claims for defective or out-of-specification materials until fully resolved. * Prepare and present periodic reports on purchasing analysis, savings achieved, supplier compliance, and performance evaluation.
