**JOB OPENING: COMPUTER SYSTEMS ENGINEER – TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND CCTV** Location: State of Mexico (Edomex) – Metepec Contract type: Project-based Work modality: On-site Monthly salary: $12,000.00 to $14,000.00 per month (negotiable, competitive according to experience) Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM **Job objective:** Design, install, configure, maintain, and provide support for telecommunications systems, networks, and video surveillance systems (IP and analog CCTV), ensuring optimal operation of electronic security projects and technological infrastructure. **Main responsibilities:** * CCTV system design and engineering (IP cameras, NVR/DVR, storage, VMS). * Installation and configuration of telecommunications networks (structured cabling, fiber optics, switches, routers, VLANs, VPN). * Commissioning, testing, and preventive/corrective maintenance of video surveillance and alarm systems. * On-site and remote technical support to clients. * Preparation of diagrams, technical reports, and solution proposals. * Coordination of electronic security implementation projects. * Diagnosis and resolution of faults in telecommunications and CCTV systems. **Essential requirements:** * Degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field (graduated or intern with experience). * Minimum 2–3 years of verifiable experience installing and configuring CCTV and telecommunications systems. * Solid knowledge of: * IP/Analog cameras, NVR/DVR, video management software (Milestone, Genetec, Hikvision, Dahua, etc.). * Networks (TCP/IP, subnetting, managed switches, WiFi, fiber optics). * Structured cabling (Category 5e/6/6a, fiber). * Operating systems: Windows Server / Basic Linux. * Use of measurement tools (cable certifier, OTDR if applicable). * Availability to travel within Edomex (and CDMX if required). * Personal vehicle and valid driver’s license (preferred). * Excellent service attitude, proactivity, and teamwork skills. **Desirable profile:** * Certifications: CCNA, CCTV (Hikvision, Dahua), electronic security, or similar. * Experience in video surveillance projects for enterprises, corporations, commercial plazas, or government. * Knowledge of access control, intrusion alarms, or UPS systems.
