Clean glass surfaces in public and staff areas. Clean floor surfaces in public and staff areas using designated chemicals, supplies and equipment. Dust surfaces in assigned areas. Empty trash containers, ashtrays and ash urns located in public areas into appropriate receptacles. Inspect furniture condition and check for breaks, tears or stains; report damage. Clean and maintain lighting fixtures. Place caution signs to reduce foot traffic when necessary. Contact other departments directly in case urgent repairs are needed. Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Identify and report preventive or maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional. Maintain confidentiality of company-owned information; protect company assets. Support all fellow team members and treat them with dignity and respect. Support the team in achieving common goals. Meet quality assurance expectations and standards. Move at a pace required to respond to work situations (e.g., run, walk, jog). Visually inspect tools, equipment or machines (e.g., to identify defects).
