DESCRIPTION Responsible for database administration for the company’s various clients. Manages information and communication technologies, being accountable for technical, technological, and scientific aspects. Guarantee and optimize database security, integrity, and stability—managing business operation information—so they remain continuously available according to the needs of the company’s various departments. The objective of this role is to ensure data availability by proposing actions that help deliver data with optimal response times for the organization. Data must be secure, and recovery procedures must be established in case of any incident. Regarding technologies, operational continuity must be ensured. Main Responsibilities: .\- Responsible for administering Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Sybase databases. .\- Resolution of database-level incidents. .\- Execution of change controls. .\- Reviewing database status, monitoring jobs and backups. .\- Daily maintenance of SQL Server, Oracle, and Sybase databases. .\- Experience required in ORACLE EXADATA, ORACLE EXALOGIC, and GOLDEN GATE environments. REQUIREMENTS Must have: .\- Proficiency and experience with operating systems and infrastructure in general. .\- Installation and configuration of Oracle database engines; knowledge of Server. .\- Scripting on UNIX, Linux, and Windows servers; SQL language; relational and non-relational databases; troubleshooting. .\- Analysis and resolution of database-level requirements. Versions: Various versions of Oracle database engine. PostgreSQL up to version 10. MySQL 5. MongoDB. CosmosDB. Sybase (desirable). Backup, restore, tuning, database engine installation, performance analysis, issue resolution.
