Headquartered in Malvern, PA, CPI is supported by: >2,500 global associates, 7 manufacturing sites, 12 corporate offices, and 43 service branches. **WHAT YOU’LL DO** Responsible for defining, implementing, and maintaining Standard Operating Tools (IT Documentation CBS), meeting quality and efficiency metrics across all released production lines, and providing ongoing technical support following initial Level-1 Support analysis. The Operations Engineer will have a direct impact on our corporate group, responsible for: * Supporting and ensuring Level-2 support to production lines, investigating root causes and resolving issues within scope—including implementation of changes—and tracking results to verify positive outcomes via PARs, CARs, fixtures, 3-in-1 Poka-Yokes, etc. * Serving as leader or team member of the APQP team during new product introductions—ensuring delivery and quality of deliverables defined in the Global Tollgate Process—as the accountable person for quality of new products within their Value Stream, and ensuring timely implementation of all QRO Manufacturing Strategy requirements. * Establishing production processes ensuring compliance with CBS (operating standards, layout, process flow, FMEA, etc.) and ISO 9001, as well as maintaining associated tools. * Improving production processes and workstations to impact quality, cost, delivery, ergonomics, and safety—including proposals and observations from other departments. * Executing productivity indicator-driven improvement actions. * Generating, coordinating, and tracking special processes such as major change pilot runs onsite, at other sites, and with suppliers. * Coordinating and ensuring execution of activities stemming from meetings (QMT) with Engineering (Level-3 Support) to guarantee information and resource flow needed to resolve product- and process-related issues and changes. * Implementing engineering changes via PCNs. * Maintaining line readiness for integration of new variants, part numbers, and profiles through established processes—PCN, TCN, Concessions, EDR—as applicable. * Defining and requisitioning materials, equipment, and fixtures for non-standardized production process changes, and coordinating rework with external suppliers. * For Finished Product and Purchased Parts Concessions: verifying that documentation submitted by the originator is accurate prior to sending the concession for approval; determining whether the concession represents high or low risk; and ensuring its approval and implementation. * Implementing APQP core tools (PFD, PFMEA, MSA, Cpk, SPC, Control Plan) across product lines within the organization. * Implementing MasterCard Terminal Quality Management standards requirements into manufacturing processes (*applies only to Connectivity lines*). **WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR** **Qualifications and Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent. * English proficiency: Advanced. * Experience: Desirable: 2 years in Time and Motion Analysis. Desirable: 3 years using statistical tools (Cpk, Cp, X-R Charts). Desirable: 3 years using problem-solving tools (Ishikawa, Pareto, 8D, 5W, PDCA). Desirable: 3 years in production processes (line balancing).
