We are looking to hire: **EHS AND SAFETY SUPERVISOR (CONSTRUCTION)** Objective: *Ensure compliance with applicable Safety, Health, and Environmental (EHS) regulations within the project through operational supervision, implementation of preventive and corrective controls, and monitoring of performance indicators—aiming to prevent incidents, protect personnel integrity, and ensure safe working conditions on site.* Main Responsibilities: * Identify, assess, and update project risks according to activity progress, establishing corresponding control measures. * Supervise the proper implementation of controls defined in risk analyses, ensuring their application in the field. * Communicate and validate safety requirements prior to execution of high-risk tasks (e.g., work at height, lifting operations, excavations, hot work, among others). * Conduct safety talks (daily start-of-shift briefings) focused on specific risks associated with planned activities. * Coordinate and ensure compliance with the personnel site/plant access process, validating mandatory documentation (IMSS registration, identification documents, DC3 forms, medical examinations, and other client-specific requirements). * Deliver and/or coordinate safety induction for newly hired personnel, ensuring they understand project-specific risks, controls, and guidelines before commencing work. * Verify that personnel comply with established safe work procedures during task execution. * Validate that tools, equipment, and machinery meet safe operating conditions prior to use. * Supervise correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), ensuring its suitability for the risk level of each activity. * Supervise subcontractors’ compliance with safety obligations during work execution. * Maintain work areas in safe conditions through order, cleanliness, proper demarcation, and signage. * Ensure proper disposal of waste and materials in assigned areas per project guidelines. * Install and verify correct placement of preventive, restrictive, and informative signage in hazardous areas. * Record, investigate, and follow up on incidents, accidents, and unsafe conditions/acts, implementing corrective actions. * Prepare and maintain updated EHS reports, operational records, and performance indicators. * Monitor administrative personnel processes, including attendance tracking, documentation, and IMSS registration per project requirements.
