Job Summary: We are seeking a GCP Data Engineer to design, implement, and optimize scalable and efficient data solutions, evaluating the technical feasibility of new data sources. Key Highlights: 1. Design and implementation of scalable and efficient data solutions. 2. Optimization and monitoring of the GCP Cloud Data ecosystem. 3. Translation of business requirements into technical solutions. An insurance company in CDMX is looking for: **GCP Data Engineer** Profile: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field * Certification: "Professional Data Engineer" on GCP (Preferred) **Essential General Knowledge:** * 1\. Experience in designing data pipelines, data modeling, and data structures (DW, DL, Lakehouse) * 2\. Knowledge of the GCP ecosystem Experience with native GCP cloud data services: * 1\. BigQuery * 2\. Dataflow * 3\. Composer/Airflow * 4\. Cloud Storage * 5\. Pub/Sub * 6\. Cloud Functions/Run (Preferred) Knowledge of development and configuration of: * Code repositories Programming languages: * 1\. SQL (Advanced) * 2\. Python * 3\. Java * 6\. Terraform (IaC configuration) DataOps/DevOps * Version control and collaboration using Git (GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket / Harness) * IaC (Terraform or similar) * Deployment automation Desirable knowledge: "DevOps Tools Experience: * Jenkins usage * Harness usage Job Description (Responsibilities): * Requirements analysis focused on evaluating technical feasibility and impact of integrating new data sources into the existing solution. * Design and implementation of scalable and efficient data solutions that facilitate data access and analysis aligned with user needs. * Execution and recommendations for improvements to the GCP Cloud Data ecosystem (processing optimization, monitoring, and cost management). * Development of robust and scalable solutions using GCP services based on user requirements. * Execution of functional and performance testing. * Application of best practices in software development and data management. * Translation of business needs into technical solutions (and vice versa) We offer: * Salary: MXN 50,000 net * Statutory benefits * Life insurance * GMM health insurance * Work modality: Hybrid * Work location: Insurgentes and Mixcoac, CDMX.
