**A day in this role** You will guide the maintenance supervisor and technicians during your shift to execute planned activities effectively and efficiently, make optimal intervention decisions swiftly and efficiently during the shift, and thereby ensure equipment reliability and availability. **How you’ll make an impact** * Coach the maintenance team on executing planned tasks, ensuring work is completed and objectives and schedules are met. * Perform shift routines (e.g., mechanical inspections, plan follow-up, etc.). * Coordinate preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment service life. * Forecast spare parts and tools required for the next shift’s activities. * Ensure adherence to EHS protocols during maintenance activities. * Identify training needs and train personnel to improve performance. * Prepare periodic reports on equipment status, team performance, and maintenance costs. * Extensive knowledge of equipment maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting, as well as the ability to interpret technical drawings. * Ability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and maintain clear, consistent communication with staff, suppliers, and other departments. * Critical thinking skills to diagnose failures, identify root causes, and make effective decisions. * Ability to manage multiple priorities, plan tasks, and maintain accurate records. * Proficiency in occupational health and safety regulations relevant to the work area. **About the team** The selected candidate will collaborate closely with electrical and mechanical maintenance experts, as well as the maintenance planner. **Who is Siemens Energy?** At Siemens Energy, we are much more than an energy technology company.
