




Job Summary: IRI UM is seeking a WebMethods Consultant to ensure the availability, stability, security, and performance of the webMethods integration platform. Key Responsibilities: 1. Automate using Command Central, scripts, and CI/CD At IRIUM, we are looking for you: ***WebMethods Consultant*** **Technical Knowledge:** Position Purpose * Ensure the availability, stability, security, and performance of the webMethods integration platform throughout its lifecycle (installation, operation, support, maintenance, and continuous improvement), enabling reliable integrations between critical business systems. * Responsibilities (Key Functions) * Installation and Configuration **Install and configure components** * Integration Server (IS), Universal Messaging (UM), My webMethods Server (MWS), Command Central, Terracotta (clustering), and legacy components such as Broker (if applicable) * Configure ports, SSL/TLS, JVM (heap/GC/threads), and network parameters **Environment Management** * Operate and maintain Development, QA, Pre-production, and Production environments * Manage clusters, load balancing, HA/failover, and startup/shutdown procedures * Coordinate maintenance windows and deployments with development teams **Performance and Capacity** * Monitor CPU, memory, heap, thread, and connection (JMS/HTTP/JDBC) metrics * Perform JVM, thread pool, connection pool, cache, and session tuning * Execute performance testing and bottleneck analysis **Monitoring and Operational Support** * Administer and use Command Central, Optimize/Apama/Insight (if applicable), and external tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana) * Manage logs (server.log, error.log, gc.log), alerts, and N2/N3 incidents * Prepare postmortems and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) **Security and Compliance** * Manage users, roles, and permissions; integrate with LDAP/AD * Implement HTTPS, certificates, access policies, and IS/UM hardening * Comply with audit guidelines (e.g., SOX, ISO 27001) and segregation of duties **Backups, DR, and Continuity** * Define and execute backups (configurations and associated DBs) and restorations * Test DRP (disaster recovery plan) and business continuity plans **Databases and Messaging** * Administer IS, MWS, and Trading Networks database schemas/DBs (in coordination with DBAs) * Manage JMS (queues/topics), UM, retention/cleanup, and messaging flows **Automation and Deployments** * Automate using Command Central, scripts (Shell/PowerShell), and CI/CD (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab) * Orchestrate deployments, rollbacks, and configuration promotions across environments **Upgrades and Maintenance** * Plan and apply fixes, service packs, hotfixes, and upgrades * Execute sanity checks and validations post-upgrade **We Offer: Direct contract with client!** * Work modality: Hybrid * Work location: Av.
