John Crane is part of Smiths Group (www.smiths.com), a global leader in applying advanced technologies for markets in threat and contraband detection, energy, medical devices, communications, and engineering components. **Job Description** Safeguard the organization's interests by ensuring the protection of people and assets, performing proper surveillance, access control, emergency management, and report preparation under the company’s strict security controls, while respecting all John Crane policies, standards, and procedures. * Safeguard and protect property against illicit activities. * Control access of personnel and vehicles, monitor entry points, prevent unauthorized entry, and ensure orderly flow of employees and visitors. * Conduct scheduled patrols within facilities, perimeters, and buildings to detect irregularities and potential risks, ensuring safety. * Prepare reports documenting incidents and unusual activities, ensuring clear and accurate records, maintaining effective communication with involved personnel. * Emergency management: respond according to established protocols during emergencies, actively participating as a brigade member and taking actions to protect people. * Ensure general HSE induction for visitors and contractors is properly conducted. * Provide friendly and efficient service to visitors and employees, guiding and assisting them when necessary, ensuring compliance with internal company policies and regulations. * Transport personnel when required, within or outside the city, using company vehicles in accordance with established controls. * Comply with QHSES Management System guidelines ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001. * Identify improvement opportunities in assigned areas, establishing, implementing, and monitoring corrective actions using methodologies such as 8D's, Kaizen, PDCA, among others. * Identify Quality, Safety, Health, Environmental, and Asset Security risks, as well as establish, implement, and monitor improvement actions for identified risks. **Requirements** * **High school diploma or technical degree** * **Proficiency in Office software** (Word and Excel) * Personnel management and effective communication skills * Ability to handle conflict situations * Observational skills to detect suspicious behavior or unusual activities * **Valid driver's license** * Integrity and ethics * **Ability to operate surveillance equipment, security systems, and communication tools.** * **Availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.** * Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team. **Additional Information** * In accordance with our mission, vision, and Global Policies: Under no circumstances will any fees or other costs related to hiring be charged to employees, directly or indirectly.
