Additionally, prepare and dispatch goods to be delivered to other departments within the company. * Generate documentation to perform cycle counts. * Perform cycle counts according to applicable procedures. * File documentation as evidence that counts were completed. * Report to the materials supervisor any missing materials or location issues. * Conduct material counts for shipments to other plants. * Comply with and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies. * Operate material handling equipment and machinery, such as forklifts, safely and efficiently. * Maintain a clean and organized work area. * Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor. * Work closely with other departments, such as purchasing, sales, and production, to ensure efficient material flow and meet business needs. * Provide support and service to other departments requiring materials or inventory information. * Identify and resolve inventory-related issues, shipments or receipts, and propose solutions to improve efficiency and reduce errors. * Other duties as required related to the position. **Requirements** * **Education / Courses:** Completed secondary education. * **Experience:** 0 \- 2 years as a material handler. * Desired knowledge in material classification. * Attention to detail, teamwork, sense of responsibility, flexibility. * Safety awareness and customer focus.
