Additionally, defines and proposes annually the necessary infrastructure FAS investments to ensure operational continuity and business-required efficiency. **A Day in the Life of...*** Develops and applies performance checklists for each FAS server (up to ~90 may exist in a complex plant) to ensure process data efficiency and backup; corrects the system as needed. Trains project and maintenance personnel on best practices. * Develops software and hardware tests for new FAS systems to verify functionality and confirm that the requested line-stop time window is sufficient for implementation, and to ensure factory operational continuity. Trains instrumentation and operations personnel on implemented changes. * Advises on CAPEX project development and monitors FAS standards adherence per IT policies, ensuring FAS-related projects are implemented on schedule and with required IT security. Provides specifications for authorized FAS equipment and standard FAS control architecture diagrams. * Plans line-stop time windows with Production to apply necessary security and automation software updates according to the regional FFIT annual program.
