Position Summary: Laparoscopy Technician / Reprocessing Technician for a leading company, with hospital experience and knowledge of regulatory standards, responsible for handling and maintaining medical equipment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comply with technical and administrative standards in hospital services. 2. Carry out high-level disinfection processes for endoscopes. 3. Control and maintenance of equipment, accessories, and supplies. A Leading Company in the Marketing of High-Specialty Medical Equipment and Devices Seeks: Position: Laparoscopy Technician / Reprocessing Technician Education: Completed high school diploma; Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related fields. Experience: Minimum one year of hospital experience. Knowledge: Familiarity with regulations and policies governing hospital operations. Responsibilities: 1.- Comply with the company’s and assigned hospital’s specialty service technical and administrative standards. 2.- Complete the company’s and assigned hospital’s specialty service training program. 3.- Carry out the high-level disinfection processes for endoscopes as specified by the company and the assigned hospital’s laparoscopy service. 4.- Control and maintenance of equipment, accessories, supplies, and ensure their proper use. 5.- Promptly report equipment malfunctions (various endoscopes, leak testers, endoscope reprocessors, and others) to the supervisor and the assigned hospital’s laparoscopy service head. 6.- Prepare daily process reports and incident reports.
