Superior University Technician in Imaging. ***Competencies and Skills:*** * Adaptability. * Planning. * Creativity. * Teamwork. * Problem analysis. * Commitment. * Risk management. * Stress tolerance. * Communication. * Leadership. * Decision making. ***Activities and Functions:*** * Performing imaging studies. * Performing portable studies. * Handling flat panel devices. * Operating C-arm equipment. * Performing radiological studies with contrast media (special studies). * Complying with radiological safety protocols for POE and patients. * Participating in administrative tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor, and any other duties entrusted. * Respecting and enforcing biosafety regulations related to radiation exposure. * Processing images and properly registering them in authorized systems. * Receiving, informing, and preparing users for image acquisition. * Ensuring proper use of tools and technical resources assigned, as well as maintaining a clean and organized workplace. * Observing and complying with CASF policies and guidelines. * Actively participating in committees, tasks, and activities arising from the Quality System implemented at CASF, as assigned. * Verification of medical requests. * Correct patient identification (personal data). * Confirmation of studies with the patient. * Experience handling and operating X-ray equipment. * Hand washing technique. * Effective communication with the patient (patient interaction). * Instructions for the study procedure. * Knowledge to identify adverse events related to patient safety. * Delivery of studies with data verification. * Proper use of intravenous infusion equipment. * Use and handling of contrast media. * Correct instructions to the patient prior to the study. * Experience with polytraumatized patients. * Experience with neonatal patients.
