




Preventive Maintenance Crew Leader/Supervisor **Area:** Maintenance / Operations **Reports to:** Maintenance Coordinator / Area Manager **Personnel in charge:** Maintenance technicians and assistants **Position Objective** Coordinate, supervise, and follow up on **preventive maintenance** activities for equipment, facilities, and systems, ensuring their proper execution according to established plans and in compliance with safety, quality, and efficiency standards. **Main Responsibilities** * Plan and assign preventive maintenance tasks to crew personnel. * Verify that activities are carried out according to established schedules and procedures. * Review and validate maintenance checklists, reports, and evidence. * Ensure the correct use of tools, materials, and personal protective equipment. * Supervise compliance with **industrial safety and environmental regulations**. * Identify deviations and promptly report failures or anomalies detected in equipment. * Coordinate with production or other departments for the proper execution of scheduled maintenance. * Train and guide staff on procedures and best practices. * Prepare progress reports and monitor maintenance indicators (timelines, program compliance, incidents). * Propose improvements to preventive maintenance procedures. **Requirements** * Education: Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, Mechanics, Electricity, or related field (preferably incomplete or completed engineering degree). * Minimum experience: **3 years in preventive maintenance** and at least **1 year supervising personnel**. * Knowledge of: * Preventive maintenance plans and programs. * Reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical drawings. * Industrial safety and hygiene regulations. * Use of diagnostic tools and equipment. * Handling technical reports and document control. **Skills** * Leadership and team coordination. * Planning and organization. * Effective communication. * Decision-making and problem-solving. * Results orientation and discipline. **Key Competencies** * Teamwork. * Proactivity. * Responsibility and commitment. * Continuous improvement.
