Job Summary: We are seeking an L2 Visual Basic Analyst to support business-critical applications, focusing on incident resolution and team collaboration. Key Highlights: 1. Collaboration with Global Teams and Business Users Capital Empresarial Horizonte, a Mexican company specializing in Human Resources and Information Technologies, is looking for: · Visual Basic Analyst – L2 Support To work at offices in CDMX Hybrid work model (3 days remote, 2 days onsite) · English: Advanced level (mandatory): Capable of participating in technical discussions, writing clear documentation, and communicating effectively with global teams. · The Visual Basic Analyst – L2 Support is responsible for providing second-level support for business-critical applications developed in Visual Basic (VB6 / VBA / VB.NET). The role focuses on incident resolution, problem analysis, defect correction, minor enhancements, and close collaboration with L1 support, business users, and development teams. Advanced English proficiency is required to interact with global stakeholders, document solutions, and participate in technical discussions. Requirements: Solid experience with Visual Basic technologies: VB6 and/or VB.NET VBA (Excel, Access or other Office integrations) Typically 36 years of experience supporting or developing applications using Visual Basic technologies. Prior experience in AMS / Production Support / L2 Support is highly desirable. Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MS Access). Strong understanding of application support in production environments. Debugging, code analysis, and performance issue resolution skills. Experience working with legacy applications and understanding of technical debt. Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar ticketing systems).
