Job Summary: Grupo Espinosa is seeking an experienced Book Casing Machine Operator familiar with machines such as Allegro or Bolero to operate and adjust equipment, coordinate production, and perform quality control and basic maintenance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operate book casing machines safely and efficiently 2. Coordinate production activities and ensure process smoothness 3. Perform sampling to ensure finished product quality **Grupo Espinosa is looking for your talent** Book Casing Machine Operator. Knowledge of any of the following casing machines: Allegro, Bolero, Norbinder, Acoro, Pantera **Responsibilities** ° Receive work orders and book models to be cased at the start of each shift. ° Operate the machine safely and efficiently, complying with established operating procedures. ° Adjust the casing machine configuration as needed to meet production requirements. ° Prepare and load casing materials, including book covers (casings) and adhesive, thread or staples (as applicable), ensuring supplies are ready for use and in optimal condition. ° Coordinate with the Work-in-Process Warehouse staff and the Guillotine Operator to ensure timely supply of sheets and casings, respectively. ° Coordinate activities with the crew to complete assigned production and ensure process smoothness, meeting production and quality objectives. ° Perform required sampling to detect defects such as wrinkles, bubbles, or misalignment, ensuring finished product quality. ° Complete the Production Report with production data (number of cased books, cycle times, machine stoppages, and any relevant issues or incidents) to maintain accurate records and facilitate equipment performance tracking. ° Perform basic maintenance tasks on casing equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustments, to ensure optimal operation and prevent failures. **Objectives** ° Achieve 100% production schedule compliance. ° Reduce material waste. ° Zero incidents resulting from unsafe work practices. **Education** Basic education **Experience** Minimum 1 year **Salary** $17,777 \+ Superior benefits \+ Overtime \+ Grocery vouchers Salary may be negotiable based on qualifications.
