Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Web Developer with Liferay experience to develop and evolve corporate portals and enterprise web platforms serving high-traffic user bases. Key Highlights: 1. Senior Web Developer – Liferay Location: Mexico City, Venustiano Carranza area (Moctezuma 2nd Section) Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 remote) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Salary: MXN $65,000 net per month (hybrid model: MXN $20,000 on payroll) A growing technology-sector company seeks to onboard a Senior Web Developer with strong Liferay expertise, focused on developing and evolving corporate portals and enterprise web platforms serving high-traffic user bases. Job Responsibilities * Develop, maintain, and optimize Liferay-based web applications * Build and customize portlets, themes, and layouts * Analyze business technical and functional requirements * Participate in front-end and back-end architecture design * Implement interfaces using **HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript** * Apply principles of **object-oriented programming, MVC, and design patterns** * Implement and validate **workflows** within the platform * Work using agile methodologies and participate in sprint reviews * Refactor code and identify technical risks during development Essential Requirements * Bachelor’s degree or engineering degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field * Minimum 3 years of development experience with **Liferay** * Proven experience with **Liferay 7 or later** * Solid understanding of software architecture * Proficiency in **OOP, MVC, and design patterns** * Proficiency in **JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, jQuery, and JSON** * Experience with **Bootstrap and/or YUI3** * Experience consuming **SOAP and REST services** * Experience with **Liferay Developer Studio, Themes, and Layout Templates** * Proficiency with **Git, Visual Studio Code, Jira, and Confluence** * Knowledge of **WebLogic, Apache, and Liferay Portal** * Experience with **UML diagramming** * Intermediate to advanced English proficiency Desirable Skills * Experience with React * Familiarity with web analytics tools, SEO, or email marketing What This Role Offers * Monthly net salary of MXN $65,000 * Hybrid work model * 12 vacation days * 25% vacation bonus * 15-day year-end bonus (aguinaldo) * Stable projects and long-term employment continuity If you have solid Liferay experience and seek to join enterprise-level projects with long-term vision, apply through this channel.
