**SLVEX**, a U.S.-based marketing agency, is seeking a WordPress Developer with basic design and image editing skills to join our remote team in Mexico. We are looking for a **responsible, detail-oriented, and proactive individual**, capable of developing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites while collaborating with our design and marketing teams. Responsibilities * Develop and maintain WordPress websites (themes, plugins, structure). * Install and configure **WordPress on hosting platforms**, including domains, databases, and SSL certificates. * Make design and styling adjustments using **visual page builders (Elementor, Divi, or similar)**. * Edit images and basic graphic elements to optimize site appearance. * Update content, troubleshoot errors, and improve overall site performance. * Ensure website functionality, security, and cross-browser compatibility. * Collaborate with the creative team to guarantee a consistent and professional user experience. Requirements * **Proven experience developing WordPress websites.** * Basic knowledge of **web design** and image editing tools (Canva, Photoshop, or similar). * Ability to install and configure WordPress across various hosting services. * Basic knowledge of **PHP** (preferred, not required). * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. * **Intermediate English** * **Personal computer and stable internet connection.** * Attention to detail, responsibility, and a collaborative attitude. Preferred * Basic knowledge of SEO and speed optimization. * Familiarity with popular plugins (Yoast, Contact Form 7, WP Rocket, etc.). * Experience migrating websites between hosting providers or domains.
