Position Summary: We are seeking an Electrical, Mechanical, or Railway Engineer to analyze and design catenary and railway electrification systems, ensuring regulatory compliance. Key Highlights: 1. Knowledge of railway electrification and regulatory standards Salary: 4,000\.00 (MXN) \- 4,800\.00 (MXN) per week Job Description: Education: Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, and/or Railway Engineer specializing in Energy and Railway Traction. Knowledge: Application of national and international electrical system standards for traction substations (NOM, IEEE, CENELEC, UNE, and/or AREMA) Basic to intermediate knowledge of railway electrification (catenary system and/or third rail). Fundamentals of grounding systems in railway infrastructure. Technical procedures and communication with C.F.E. and/or energy sector authorities (SENER, CRE, LAPEM, etc). Skills and competencies: Resilience; Technical analysis and interpretation for detailed engineering of railway energy and traction systems; Document drafting; Critical thinking; AutoCAD 2D, Revit (preferably); Effective communication across disciplines and with specialist personnel; Basic to intermediate Office suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Responsibilities: Review and analyze the technical feasibility of the catenary system design based on received information (drawings, technical reports, specifications, etc.), in accordance with terms of reference and current regulations. \* Conduct reviews, provide comments and suggestions on received projects related to railway power supply and electrification systems, using review formats established by the specialist team. \* Report identified findings from the review of received information to the immediate supervisor and propose alternative solutions. \* Properly prepare technical documentation (official letters, information cards, interdepartmental procedures, etc.), as well as official documentation, in compliance with regulations and requests from the General Military Residence. \* Timely attendance and active participation in in-person and/or videoconference meetings related to catenary system projects. Requirements: 0 to 1 year minimum experience \- (2 years preferred). Interest in electrical-railway infrastructure topics. Timely technical-regulatory participation to issue proposals and/or resolutions addressing various issues arising during information development. Degree certificate and/or internship completion letter. Willingness to relocate.
