




The materials supervisor will oversee daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations. This role ensures efficient and accurate material handling, maintains inventory accuracy, and supports production schedules. ***Responsibilities*** **1\. Shipping and Receiving:** * Supervise shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing materials. * Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed (certified forklift operator license required). * Verify and inspect incoming materials to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with purchase orders. **2\. Warehouse Management** * Implement and manage warehouse space optimization and layout strategies. * Monitor inventory levels and conduct periodic cycle counts and physical inventories. **2\. Inventory Control:** * Ensure accurate recording of inventory transactions in the Epicor ERP system. * Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly. * Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize losses and improve accuracy. **3\. Leadership:** * Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse and shipping/receiving employees. * Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring optimal use of resources. * Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the team. **4\. Process Improvement:** * Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. * Apply lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on department performance. ***Requirements:*** * Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field. * Minimum of 3 years of warehouse and materials management experience, preferably in the automotive industry. * Certified forklift operator license is a plus. * Certification in supply chain management or related fields (e.g., APICS, CPSM) is preferred. * Proficiency with material management software and ERP systems, Epicor or similar. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing software systems. * Spanish and English fluency (desirable). **\*Position for 2nd shift\*** **Schedule: Monday to Thursday from 7pm to 4am** **Friday from 3pm to 9pm.** Job type: Full-time Benefits: * Major medical insurance * Life insurance * Grocery vouchers Language: * English (Required) Workplace: On-site employment
